EVVA ICS master key system

Ask experts who know their way around mechanical master key systems for companies, institutions and industry, and they will often recommend the Evva ICS system. And not without reason: it combines many innovative and proven locking technologies that make this master key system particularly secure, yet easy to handle. Because security, flexibility and simple handling are exactly what matter to many companies, this master key system is frequently installed in more complex properties. You will often find one in offices, shopping centres and libraries, for example, and even entire sections of an industrial site can be conveniently secured with the Evva ICS master key system. Both the key and the cylinder stand out for their particularly high stability, resilience and unusual resistance to wear.

The key

The heart of every mechanical master key system is the key. The locking systems from Evva in particular are distinguished by key technologies that embody know-how gained over many years of experience. The key of the Evva ICS master key system also brings together many features that make it ideal for use in larger building complexes with many employees:

Special key bevels have been developed for Evva keys, allowing the key to slide into the lock very easily – so it is comfortable for every user. At 3 mm thick it is particularly sturdy, and its high-quality nickel silver alloy makes it low-wear and well protected against all kinds of weathering. Internal recesses make the key difficult to copy, meaning that producing an illegal key copy is almost impossible. The Evva security card that comes with every key also ensures a high level of security. The keys can only be copied by selected authorised partners. Without extensive knowledge of the key structure and special machines to produce them, it is practically impossible for third parties to copy the keys. Each key can be given its own colour design. This would make it possible, for example, to assign particular key colours to entire departments of a company.

The lock cylinder

One of the special features of the Evva ICS master key system's cylinder is that it is built in a modular design and can therefore be fitted flexibly. Every door has its own peculiarities, but the ICS cylinder can be adapted very well to the conditions on site. In addition, the surface of the locking elements is refined so that signs of wear only appear after many years.

Further advantages: Evva cylinders contain chrome vanadium elements, which are particularly hard and resilient. This makes forced opening by various techniques more difficult. The pins in the cylinder core are also made of chrome vanadium and effectively prevent the cylinder from being pulled out. Like many other mechanical master key systems from Evva, the ICS system also offers so-called anti-scanning protection. The special design of the locking elements prevents anyone from scanning the structure from outside and thus producing a duplicate key.
